Yawnkiller for Claude and MCP

Ask Claude for a survey and get a link to share. Yawnkiller turns plain text into a form that animates like an award website, so people actually finish it. Claude can also read the results back to you.

You: “Make me a quick survey about our team offsite.”

Claude writes 3 to 7 questions, creates the form and replies with two links: the public form to share (yawnkiller.com/f/…) and the results page (yawnkiller.com/r/…). Later: “How is my offsite survey doing?” and Claude summarizes the answers.

Server address for every client: https://yawnkiller.com/mcp (remote MCP over Streamable HTTP).

1. Connect

claude.ai, Claude Desktop and Claude mobile

  1. Open Customize › Connectors and click Add custom connector.
  2. Name: Yawnkiller. URL: https://yawnkiller.com/mcp.
  3. If the dialog asks for Authentication, choose Sign in when needed. Do not choose “No sign-in”: Claude would then never offer the sign in, and creating forms would fail.
  4. If it asks for the OAuth client, keep Use Claude's published identity. “Register automatically” works too. Leave request headers empty.
  5. Click Add. In a chat, ask for a survey. When Claude creates the first form, it shows a Connect button: sign in once (see Sign in).

A connector added on claude.ai also works in Claude Desktop and the Claude mobile apps signed in to the same account. On Team and Enterprise plans an Owner adds the connector under Organization settings › Connectors, then each member connects with their own Yawnkiller sign in.

Claude Code

claude mcp add --transport http yawnkiller https://yawnkiller.com/mcp

Claude Code works without signing in. Each form then comes with a private admin link, which is the key to edit it, so keep it. To keep your forms in your account and use your Pro key everywhere, type /mcp in Claude Code, select yawnkiller and choose Authenticate. Your browser opens the sign in.

Other MCP clients

Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf and other clients that speak remote MCP:

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "yawnkiller": { "type": "http", "url": "https://yawnkiller.com/mcp" }
  }
}

Some clients call the field serverUrl or need "transport": "streamable-http"; check your client's docs. Sign in is optional for local clients and works like in Claude Code. Always use yawnkiller.com, not an older workers.dev address: sign ins are bound to this address.

2. Sign in

When: only when it is needed. Listing themes, reading the syntax and reading public results work without an account. From claude.ai, creating a form, editing it without its admin link and listing your forms ask you to sign in.

How: there is no password.

  1. Click Connect in Claude. A Yawnkiller page opens.
  2. Enter your email address. You get an email from login@yawnkiller.com with a 6 digit code and a sign in link. Type the code or click the link.
  3. The next page shows which app asks for access and what it may do. Click Allow and you are back in Claude.

There is no separate sign up: your first sign in creates a free account. The same email address signs you in on My forms on the website.

What the app may do: the scope forms lets it create and edit forms in your account and read their results. It cannot buy anything, see your email inbox or change your account.

How long: an app stays connected for up to 90 days after it was last used. Access tokens last one hour and renew in the background.

How to end it: remove the connector in your app (Customize › Connectors › Remove). To cut every app off at once, delete your account under My forms: all app access ends immediately, and your forms stay online and can still be managed with their admin links.

4. Plans

Free: one new form a month with up to 100 answers each, the Kinetic and Editorial themes and a small badge. A form unlock or Pro removes these limits; see the pricing section. Purchases happen on the website, never inside the chat. If you have Pro, add your key to your account under My forms and it applies to everything you create through Claude.

5. Troubleshooting

Claude never shows a Connect button, and creating a form fails

The connector was probably added with “No sign-in”. Remove it under Customize › Connectors and add it again with Sign in when needed. Also check that the URL is exactly https://yawnkiller.com/mcp.

The login email does not arrive

It comes from login@yawnkiller.com within a minute. Check your spam folder, then request a new code. Company mail filters sometimes hold the first email from a new sender.

“This code expired. Send a new one.”

Codes and links work for 15 minutes and only once, and each code allows a few attempts. Go back and request a new code.

“This page expired or was already used”

The sign in page was opened twice or left open too long. Start again from Claude: click Connect again, or ask Claude to create the form again.

“Your free form for this month is used”

The free plan includes one new form a month (UTC). Claude tells you the day your next free form is ready. Until then you can unlock the form or get Pro on the website.

“This form is full”

Free forms take up to 100 answers. Unlock the form from its admin link or My forms to keep collecting.

I lost the admin link

If you were signed in when the form was created, open My forms: every form in your account is there. Forms created without an account can be claimed into it from the browser that made them. We cannot recover admin links otherwise.

Claude asks me to connect again

After 90 days without use, or after you deleted your account, the connection ends. Click Connect and sign in again; your forms are still there.

“Too many requests”

We limit how many requests one network or account can send in a short time. Wait a few minutes and try again.

Still stuck?

Email support@yawnkiller.com with what you asked Claude, the error text and roughly when it happened. Please do not send your admin key.
