Sign in (OAuth 2.1 with PKCE, Client ID Metadata Documents or dynamic registration, discovery at https://yawnkiller.com/.well-known/oauth-protected-resource/mcp) is optional for local clients and needed from hosted connectors such as claude.ai to create forms; reading tools work without it. Signed in, forms belong to the account and are listed at https://yawnkiller.com/forms. Use https://yawnkiller.com/mcp, not the workers.dev address: tokens are bound to it.

On claude.ai, Claude Desktop and mobile: Customize > Connectors > Add custom connector, URL https://yawnkiller.com/mcp, Authentication "Sign in when needed" (not "No sign-in"), OAuth client "Use Claude's published identity".

Sign in: there is no password. The Connect button (or /mcp > Authenticate in Claude Code) opens a page that emails a 6 digit code and a sign in link from login@yawnkiller.com, valid for 15 minutes and usable once. A consent page then asks to allow the scope "forms" (create and edit forms in the account, read their results). Access tokens last 1 hour, the connection up to 90 days after last use. Deleting the account at https://yawnkiller.com/forms ends every app connection.

## API

POST https://yawnkiller.com/api/forms with {"source": "<plain text>", "theme": "kinetic", "publicResults": true} returns the public link, the results link and the admin link. Send a Pro license as the x-license-key header for Pro themes and unlimited forms.

Free covers 1 new form a month (GET https://yawnkiller.com/api/quota shows what is left). It counts per x-yk-client header (a random id of 32 lowercase hex chars) when you send one, else per network address, with a cap of 10 free forms per network and month. Over the quota or with a Pro theme, add "draft": true: the form is saved as a private draft and goes live once unlocked.

POST https://yawnkiller.com/api/forms/:id/unlock with the x-admin-key header returns {"url"} of a $9 checkout that unlocks this one form.

## Troubleshooting

- No Connect button and create_form fails on claude.ai: the connector was added with "No sign-in". Remove it and add it again with "Sign in when needed".
- Login email missing: check spam, then request a new code. "This code expired": codes work 15 minutes and once, request a new one.
- "This page expired or was already used": start connecting again from the app.
- "Your free form for <month> is used": the next free form is ready at the start of the next month (UTC), or unlock the form, or Pro.
- "This form is full": free forms take 100 answers; unlock the form.
- Lost admin link: signed in, every form is at https://yawnkiller.com/forms. Admin links cannot be recovered otherwise.
- "Too many requests": wait a few minutes.
